Gator-on-Gator crime: Jordan Reed being evaluated for concussion after helmet-popping hit by Keanu Neal
Former Florida TE Jordan Reed may have another concussion, and this time a fellow ex-Gator would be to blame.
In the Washington-Atlanta preseason game, Reed took a hard hit from Falcons DB Keanu Neal. As you can see in the clips below, Reed’s helmet popped off. It was initially reported that he got right back up, but the Redskins took him out of the game over concussion concerns, which have been a problem for Reed in his NFL career (2013-present). He has six documented concussions already in his career.
Reed’s 10-yard reception was his only catch of Thursday night’s preseason game.
Jordan Reed took a BIG shot to the head from Keanu Neal.
15 yard penalty.
Oof. Not the kind of contact you want to see guys taking, especially in preseason.
