Kyle Trask, a high school backup quarterback who many people thought had no business getting a scholarship offer from Florida, came in cold off the bench to engineer a Gators comeback win at Kentucky.

Dan Mullen’s squad scored an impressive 19 answered points with Trask stepping in for his fellow redshirt junior Feleipe Franks. Trask led UF to a 29-21 victory in Lexington.

Trask finished 9-of-13 passing for 126 yards along with one carry, a go-ahead 4-yard TD. Florida’s other scores with Trask were credited as rushing touchdowns to RB Lamical Perine and WR Josh Hammond.
