Jim McElwain updates injury report before LSU game
Florida coach Jim McElwain updated the injury statuses of several players during his press conference Wednesday.
According to McElwain, defensive end CeCe Jefferson and center Tyler Jordan should both be available for Saturday’s game against LSU. Jefferson is expected to start while Jordan will likely fill a backup role. Left tackle David Sharpe also took reps in Wednesday’s practice.
Injury update: Looks like CeCe Jefferson will be back. Dillard is out. Sharpe is questionable. Jordan should be back in a backup role.

Having the three players back will be crucial for Florida, who is battling injuries woes on both sides of the football. McElwain announced that eight other players are expected to miss Saturday’s game due to injuries.

That’s going to make things difficult facing an LSU team considered to be a double-digit favorite at home.
