Jimmy Johnson may be one of the best coaches in the history of the Miami football program but his recent speech to the Hurricanes almost made it seem like he expects the school to go down in Orlando.

The former Hurricane, Dallas Cowboys and Miami Dolphin coach recently visited with the team to share some insight before the team hit the road for Orlando to face the Gators. While Miami was eager to share a segment of what what the former coach had to say to the team, the clip the program’s official Twitter account shared of Johnson speaking didn’t inspire a ton of confidence.

The theme of Johnson’s speech was that this team will get better down the road thanks to the coaches on staff at Miami and not to get too down when things get rough.

That’s not exactly the message a team wants to hear days away from a matchup with a preseason top 10 opponent.

You can check out the clip below:

Did you get the same vibe from Johnson’s comments?
