John Bol is an elite big man for the 2024 recruiting class that committed to Florida on June 10. Unfortunately, that commitment will not live to see July with the 4-star center reopening his recruitment.
Chris Wash — a NIL Advisor per his Twitter bio — announced Friday evening Bol was decommitting from the Gators and reopening his recruitment. Wash referred to Bol as his client in the announcement on Twitter.

Bol played the 2022-23 season at Sunrise Christian School in Wichita, Kansas. Other offers he was considering before committing to Florida included Mizzou, Texas, Michigan, USC and UConn.
According to the 247 Sports Composite, Bol is the 29th overall player in the country and the No. 3 center for the cycle. He is listed at 7-foot-1 and 190 pounds and could be a game-changer for a number of programs.
