Kadarius Toney tweets apology after throwing punch in Cowboys game
Kadarius Toney enjoyed a breakout game on Sunday for the New York Giants, but the end of the game turned ugly for the former Florida star.
But Toney won’t be remembered for his numbers in the box score from Sunday. Instead, it will be his punch of DB Damontae Kazee, which earned him an ejection. Joe Buck said on the FOX broadcast that Toney was shoved in the video below.
But on Monday morning, Toney issued an apology to everyone connected to the Giants organization.
“Wanna take the time out to apologize to the entire organization, Owners, My Teammates and the entire #BigBlue💙…your emotions just can get the best of you sometimes…..No Excuses just actions 💯🤞🏽#ThankYall”
NFL insider Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reported that Toney will likely avoid a suspension, but is still facing a fine for his actions in the game.
Toney in the game made 10 catches for 189 yards on 13 targets, including a catch of 38 yards.
