Kahnen Daniels is a 4-star running back and one of the top players out of Mississippi for the class of 2024. On Monday, he revealed a commitment to stay in the SEC to begin his career.

According to Hayes Fawcett with On3 Sports, Daniels is committing to Billy Napier’s Florida program. He gives the Gators a key prospect in the backfield after generating offers from Alabama, Auburn, Louisville, Mississippi State, Ole Miss, Texas A&M and Vanderbilt, among others.

Listed at 5-foot-11 and 190 pounds, Daniels is rated as a 4-star prospect out of West Point High School in Mississippi. Per the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Daniels is the 35th RB in the country and the No. 12 player out of Mississippi for the class of 2024.

Daniels’ commitment gives Napier and the Gators 6 commitments so far in the 2024 recruiting cycle, a group that ranks 14th nationally so far by the 247 Sports Composite.
