Kaiir Elam, former Florida DB, records first interception of NFL career

Kaiir Elam has now picked off an NFL quarterback. The Buffalo Bills rookie defensive back out of Florida hauled in the first interception of his NFL career on Sunday.
In the first half of the Buffalo-Pittsburgh game, Elam intercepted Steelers QB Kenny Pickett.

Elam played 3 seasons at Florida, earning All-Freshman SEC (2019) and second-team All-SEC (2020) recognition. The Bills traded up in the 2022 NFL Draft, receiving the No. 23 overall pick to take Elam.
Entering Sunday’s Week 5 action, Elam had played in all games for the Bills, entering the starting lineup in Week 3. Through Week 4, Elam had recorded 15 tackles and a pass breakup.
Elam’s Bills lead the Steelers 31-3 in the 3rd quarter. The game is airing on CBS.
