Saturday afternoon turned ugly for the Florida baseball program as South Alabama put up several crooked numbers in the Gainesville Regional, including three home runs in the seventh inning, which followed a 10-run sixth.

Perhaps the most incredible stat of the game was that South Alabama had 10 straight two-out hits in the 10-run sixth.

Media and fans immediately discussed coach coach Kevin O’Sullivan being a target of LSU and its search for a new coach.

To make matters worse, the game was delayed by weather just after 3 p.m. in the seventh inning.
