Good news Gator fans, Keyontae Johnson is returning for another season.

The sophomore forward is coming off his best season to date after averaging 14 points and 7.1 rebounds per game for the Gators last year.

Johnson now joins Scottie Lewis as two key players that have decided to return to Mike White’s program for another season.

The sophomore Gator shared the following message announcing his decision to return to the team for another season, citing the unfinished business Florida has on the court.

“I can’t wait to get back and play with my brothers again next season! We’ve got unfinished business & the Gators will be ready to go. I’m excited to keep growing on and off the court with Coach White and our coaching staff here & keep playing in front of the gator family💙💙”

Florida finished the season with a 19-12, which was largely considered a disappointment around the SEC.

While the season may not have gone the way Gator fans desired, it appears two key players are coming back based in part to finish their college careers on the right note and lead Florida to an SEC championship on the court.
