This is a huge addition for Dan Mullen and the Florida Gators.

Elite DE Khris Bogle (Ft. Lauderdale, Fl.) announced he would sign with the Gators on National Signing Day in a ceremony at his high school. Bogle, the former Alabama commit, is rated a 4-star prospect and ranked as the nation’s No. 3 WDE and the state of Florida’s No. 10 overall prospect, according to 247Sports Composite Rankings. He’s the No. 71 overall prospect in the country.

Bogle’s final decision came down to Alabama, Florida and Miami, with the Gators winning out.

Here’s Bogle’s announcement Wednesday morning, even breaking out the Chucky doll, via Adam Lichtenstein:

The talented defender started to look elsewhere following the departure of Tide DC Tosh Lupoi, and he took official visits to Florida and Miami the last two weekends.

Following his commitment to Florida, the Gators have 23 commitments or signees for the class of 2019. Florida is also waiting on decisions from 4-star athlete Mark-Antony Richards (11:00 a.m. ET) and 4-star DB Kaiir Elam (1:30 p.m. ET).

Below are Bogle’s impressive junior highlights:
