If Diwun Black is right, Florida fans will have plenty to celebrate by the time National Signing Day rolls around in early February.

The longtime Florida commit made his way down to Gainesville for his official visit over the weekend and without a doubt, Black did his best to pitch another elite linebacker to join him in the Swamp. Also taking an official visit to Gainesville over the weekend was four-star linebacker and Alabama commit Khris Bogle of Fort Lauderdale. Bogle committed to the Crimson Tide at the All-American Bowl but that was before defensive coordinator Tosh Lupoi left Tuscaloosa for the Cleveland Browns.

According to 247Sports, Bogle is the nation’s No. 71 overall prospect for the 2019 recruiting cycle and the No. 3 weakside defensive end in the nation. Considering his 6-foot-3, 212-pound frame and status as an All-American Bowl participant, Bogle seems like a natural plug and play pass rusher in Todd Grantham’s defensive system.

If Bogle ultimately decides to stay in state instead of sticking with his Alabama pledge, Miami and Florida look to be the two options for Bogle. While some predict Manny Diaz’s return to Miami will eventually lead to Bogle signing with the Hurricanes, don’t try and tell that to Black.

Check out this interaction on Twitter when a user predicted Bogle will eventually wind up at Miami and Black responded with his thoughts on the subject:

After sending the weekend together in Gainesville with the Florida coaching staff, Black likely has a good read on the situation and what Bogle may be thinking when it comes to the linebacker’s recruitment. While nothing is official and we are still a little over a week away from National Signing Day, the Gators have to feel good about where they stand with Bogle as his final decision looming in early February.
