Kyle Pitts the No. 2 overall prospect in the draft? NFL analyst Daniel Jeremiah states his case
When it comes to scouting prospects for the NFL Draft, there aren’t any analysts more respected than Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network.
Jeremiah is so good at his job, he’s received interest from multiple NFL teams regarding general manager positions. While joining a front office may be in his future, for now, Jeremiah has his hands full scouting prospects for the NFL Network.
Never one to make bold statements simply for the attention, Jeremiah has a take that could very well become more popular as we inch closer to the 2021 NFL Draft.
After quarterback Trevor Lawrence, which nearly everyone has as the No. 1 overall prospect in the draft, Jeremiah currently rates Kyle Pitt’s as the league’s No. 2 overall prospect.
What Pitts did during his Pro Day in Gainesville on Wednesday certainly will help his case.
In a recent post from the NFL Network, Jeremiah breaks down some of the many highlights Pitts offers to teams at the game’s highest level.

Oh my…edging up the board…could Kyle be the GatorbaitorU’s first NUMBER 1 NFL draft pick since NINETEEN OH SIX? If I owned a NFL team that sucked enuff to have the number 1 pick this year I would certainly have to consider him…matchup nightmare for sure…but…1906 lives on
So do 1996, 2006 and 2008.
Plus 1943, 1945, 1953 (would have been 1981) and 2009…
Plus plus 1920, 1927, 1942, 1946, 1968 and 1980…
Plus plus plus…CFP stands for
Ah, counting leather helmet non-consensus polls and just getting close without the cigar now, are we?
I thought CFP stood for something UGA has never won?
Oh to be clear, everyone outside of Bama nation knows we won in 2017, I just prefer to move on and let Negan and you fight that battle over unimportant stats, like final score…lol
I don’t care if you cry like a b!tch over getting beat in 2017 or not.. Saying everyone outside Bama nation knows UGA won is just another false statement made by possibly the biggest UGA dumba$$ on the site…
But hey it’s the offseason… UGA fans love to run their mouth in the offseason because they have to get it in early before their team $hits the bed to a sub 500 SC team at home…
A fanbase full of crying b!tches…
Wow…dude, you are something. Anyhoot, for what it’s worth…
I HEAR great things about Prozac for the treatment of Intermittent Explosive Disorder, just fyi. Makes you mellow as a mushroom, later tater.
The last response is all yours, have fun playing with yourself…
“Wow…dude, you are something. “
And you’re not… You’re the same dumba$$ that joined SDS crying about people trolling while doing nothing but trolling..
You’re garbage isn’t funny. It’s stupid and sad.
BamSlime talking about trolls? You’re the slimiest troll on this site. Just saying. I’m sure in real life you’re a nice guy and everything. Just like Saban.
Like most UGA fans you don’t seem to be able to comprehend what you read..
I’m sure in real life you’re a nice guy and everything. Just like Saban…
Now that certainly sums it up, dawgpound…lol, that’s hilarious.
Your ranking as a prospect in the draft is a useless figure, It has little to do with where you are drafted in the first 2-3 rounds.
I recognize that position selection in the draft is predicated by the selecting team’s position of need and the best player available to fit that need, however I find it stunningly amusing that FU with all their NCs and Heismans and incredible talent that they have never had a number 1 pick…since 1906 – zero. As for ranking a prospect you may be right but as far as the $$$…position in the draft certainly is anything but useless.
You are confusing my comment. Where you are ranked as a player has nothing to do with where you are drafted, nor how much your contract is worth. He may be rated the 2nd best player in the draft, but if he is not drafted until, say 12th, him being rated 2nd best is not going to change his contract. I do not even believe in these rankings. They are subjective at best. How do you compare QBs, RBs, TEs, DL, OL, DBs, ect. and decide that one is better than another when they play different positions. Najee Harris is one he!! of a lot better running back than Pitts, Just as Pitts is one he!! of a lot better TE than Harris.
