Kyle Pitts reveals what he said to Ole Miss defender after 71-yard touchdown grab
Florida TE Kyle Pitts had a day to remember in the Gators’ 51-35 victory over Ole Miss on Saturday afternoon.
The talented tight end — who will probably be the first tight end off the board in the 2021 NFL Draft — had 8 catches for 170 yards and 4 touchdowns.
On 1 of those touchdowns, Pitts went 71 yards, stiff-arming a Rebel defender in the process. What’d he say to that defender after the play? He discussed that on Monday evening:
Did Kyle Pitts say anything to the Ole Miss defender he beat over the middle of the field on the 70+ yard TD?
"Better luck next time."

Here’s the touchdown in question, in case you missed it amid the 6 touchdowns thrown by Trask or confused it for 1 of Pitts’ other 3 touchdown grabs against Ole Miss:
KYLE PITTS. TE1.
ENOUGH SAID.

Trask-to-Pitts is going to be a lethal combination all year long. That likely won’t be the only time Pitts gets to chirp at a defender moving forward.
