The Atlanta Falcons drafted former Florida TE Kyle Pitts with the No. 4 overall pick in the 2021 NFL Draft.

The rookie is already turning heads during offseason workouts, but the Falcons will be counting on him to be one of the best tight ends in the NFL this season.

He’ll certainly be paid as a top tight end. Per Adam Schefter, Pitts signed his rookie contract, which will pay him $32.9 million over 4 years:

With the fully-guaranteed deal (which is rarely actually “fully-guaranteed” due to contract language), Pitts is now guaranteed the most money of any current NFL tight end:

Will he live up to his contract? The Falcons are hoping so. Based on what we saw from Pitts at Florida, he’s going to be a nightmare matchup for any defender.
