Florida’s offense is improving under Kyle Trask.

Trask broke a Florida record Saturday completing 18 consecutive passes in a row, breaking Chris Leak’s record in 2005 against Wyoming. Dating back to the Tennessee game, Trask completed 18 straight, which included the Towson game.

The Gators offense isn’t flashy under Trask, but the football moves up and down the field. He makes great decisions, is accurate and throws a very catchable ball.

Mid-way through the third quarter, Trask completed 18-of-20 passes for 188 yards and two touchdowns. Sure, he holds on to the football sometimes too long, but he is very accurate and efficient — the perfect game manager for Dan Mullen.

The Gators lead Towson 31-0.
