Kyle Trask breaks SEC record with 29th TD pass of the season

Florida QB Kyle Trask is having an incredible season. Even though the Gators are only playing SEC foes this year, he’s been automatic against all sorts of defenses.
On Saturday afternoon, Trask threw his 29th touchdown pass of the season in the first quarter at Vanderbilt.
As you can see below, he hit WR Kadarius Toney for a 27-yard score:

That touchdown also broke an SEC record. That’s the most touchdowns a quarterback has ever thrown during conference play:

Trask still has a long way to go to match Joe Burrow’s record 60 touchdown passes thrown in 2019, but in only 6-plus conference games this season, Trask has managed to throw more touchdowns against SEC foes than anyone else in history.
