Former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer is once again retired, calling it quits after the 2018 season.

However, there’s plenty of speculation that he could, at some point, return to the sidelines. After all, he’s only 55 years old.

On Tuesday, Florida columnist Pat Dooley said during a radio appearance that he thinks Meyer could again return to coaching, much like he did after retiring from Florida:

“I think Urban will be back coaching again,” Dooley said. “I think it’ll take the right situation, which could be USC after this year or could be Notre Dame if Brian Kelly ends up leaving. … He isn’t going somewhere to rebuild a program. He’s going to go somewhere where they’ve got everything in place and you’ve just got to teach them how to win.”

There will be opportunities in the next couple of years, so it’ll be interesting to see if Meyer once again ends his retirement and returns to the sidelines.
