Netflix is set to release a documentary series on the 2006-2009 Florida Gators under former head coach Urban Meyer within the next few months. On Saturday, it was revealed the series is set to launch on August 23 and will be titled “Swamp Kings.”

This is according to a few reports on Twitter, as well as an Instagram post by former Florida star Brandon Siler.

And there is quite the story to tell about the Gators under Meyer, specifically during this timeframe.

The Gators won 2 national titles in 3 seasons, in 2006 and 2008. Florda was known for a less than ideal off-the-field standing with an overwhelming number of arrests, one of the greatest quarterbacks the college game has ever seen in Tim Tebow, the circumstances leading to Meyer’s leave of absence in 2009 and so much more.

This could be a must-watch for Florida and non-Florida college football fans alike.
