Florida cornerback Jalen “Teez” Tabor is by all means considered one of the best in the game at the college level.

But will he be a lockdown, No. 1 corner in the NFL?

An AFC Southeast area scout turned in his evaluation on Tabor to NFL.com analyst Lance Zierlein and it’s rather honest:

“With Vernon (Hargreaves) there last year, he played with a lot more confidence,” said the scout. “I don’t think he’s a lockdown cornerback. He’s a good football player and can cover in our league, but he’s also going to be a pain in the ass for whoever takes him.”

In three seasons with the Gators — 36 games — he’s tallied 103 tackles (11 for loss), four sacks, eight interceptions (three that led to a touchdown) and 28 pass deflections. Quite frankly, opponents don’t tend to throw his way very often, and for good reason.

Bleacher Report NFL Draft Lead Writer Matt Miller has Tabor listed as the No. 22 overall prospect in the upcoming draft and the third-best corner behind fellow teammate Quincy Wilson and Ohio State’s Gareon Conley.
