O'Cyrus Torrence braces for pending weather shock as Louisiana native moves to Buffalo
O’Cyrus Torrence is in for a weather shock as the Florida offensive guard gets ready to suit up for the Buffalo Bills.
Play Underdog For Heat-Celtics Game 6! Who ya got?
The 6-foot-5 and 347-pounder is from Greensburg, Louisiana, and played for the Ragin’ Cajuns before he transferred to Florida. Torrence admitted that the most north he’s been is probably Tennessee.
“I’ve got to get a jacket or 2 probably, some extra socks, but it ain’t gonna be too cold,” he said.
Torrence could ask some advice of another Gator-turned-Bill in Kaiir Elam, who just made the same move a year ago as a first-round pick of the Bills.
Torrence is excited to join the Bills because he knows his job will be to block for QB Josh Allen.
“The first thing that came to my mind was blocking for Josh Allen,” Torrence said Friday night shortly after being selected in the second round of the NFL draft, per the Associated Press. “And what offensive linemen don’t want to do that?”
“I got to get a jacket or two, some extra socks, but it ain’t gonna be too cold.”
O’Cyrus Torrence has never been above the Mason Dixon Line but the new #Bills offensive lineman is ready.

“but it ain’t gonna be too cold”
Yes it is.
My man can now afford several new winter coats to go with a brand new cold weather wardrobe
Yes! My jags took Ventrell.
Bad buffalo weather is a hoax ..Been there twice in dead of winter and both times wore a halter top and daisy dukes. Was totally comfortable!
And what about Hillary? Is she still free and did she wear leather chaps?
Yes, and yes..looks great in them..especially handing out justice in guantanimo
He’s well insulated. He’ll be fine.
No trolling here, I really thought Big O would go sooner than this, he was one of the better linemen in the country. Good luck to him, it’s obvious to me his leaving UL for more development and improving draft stock via UF didn’t really pan out but I’m sure he had a good time in Hogville.
Ok, maybe just a little trolling! But I do wish him well, classy kid.
Au contraire kazoo master, it panned out. He proved he could dominate in the best league in the country. His draft position has more to do with him being a guard instead of a tackle
I just knew he was the one, you know, terminator of the ‘and yet 1906″ mantra…and yet here we are, 117 years later…bummer
Humpy, congratulations on Stetson making the bud light power drinking hall of fame. Oh my, such high times in Authenia.
That boi can’t handle his alcohol for sure…lol.
RealC, agreed, and I like Leghumper’s moniker :D
You know the kazoo idea was all yours and I just ran with it.
I’m going with kazoo maestro form now on just to give the poor lad some badly needed sophistication, even though it’s in name only, but he won’t notice
Very kind of you sir lol
He’s a steal for the Bills, and the fact that he did even better playing against SEC defenses, including your team, shows what a talented player he is, not to mention a great leader. I think he’ll have a long career ahead of him.
As a Caribbean girl, I can’t imagine moving to a place that cold. :)
Why do I hear Billy Ocean’s Caribbean Queen playing?
From the I bet you didn’t know file, that song was titled and released originally European Queen and then African Queen before Carribbean Queen version…and now you know the rest of the story. It is in D minor if you want me to play it on my kazoo…
Not really, it would only ruin the mood
And yet your stupidity knows no bounds
Dawgs, is there a great kazoo record that came out that year?
