For the stat/analytics crowd, PFF’s grades are a must-look on every Sunday following Saturday’s college football action. On Sunday, PFF (formerly known as Pro Football Focus) shared the 10 players from the Florida-Miami game who made its list of highest-graded players on offense and defense via Twitter.

On offense, RB Lamical Perine graded out the highest, followed by OG Brett Heggie and C Nick Buchanan. Two Miami offensive players (RB DeeJay Dallas and OG Navaughn Donaldson) made PFF’s top five on offense for the game. UF fans will probably be pleased to see that the Gators had the highest-graded offensive lineman for the game (Heggie), but before the game, many would have expected this list to include more players from the skill positions.

Members of Florida’s front seven claim four of five spots on PFF’s highest-graded defenders. Edge-rushers Jonathan Greenard and Jabari Zuniga top the list. The Gators notched 10 sacks, a first for an SEC team since 2008. Greenard also received high praise from Senior Bowl director and NFL Draft analyst Jim Nagy.
