Florida got a bit of a surprise when 4-star 2018 WR JaMarr Chase committed to the Gators back in late July.
However, that commitment may be in jeopardy, as Chase will reportedly visit LSU this weekend.
According to GatorBait.net, Chase will make an unofficial visit to Baton Rouge on Saturday for the Tigers’ game against Chattanooga.
The Louisiana native may be giving a second thought to his home-state team, and the Tigers will only be helped by the fact that No. 1 2018 prospect and 5-star QB Justin Fields will also be there this weekend.
Per the 247Sports composite, Chase is the No. 12 wide receiver in the 2018 class and the No. 4 overall recruit from the state of Louisiana.
He was projected to commit to TCU before making the surprise decision to commit to Florida this summer.
