The Florida Gators have added a game to their 2023 schedule, and it’s against a Conference USA squad.
The Charlotte 49ers will head to Gainesville to take on the Gators, but on a different date than originally scheduled.
This is a game that had apparently already been scheduled, but the date of the matchup has been changed, moving up to Sept. 23 instead of Nov. 18:
2023 Florida-Charlotte game was previously reported in November. Game date has been changed from Nov. 18 to Sept. 23.

Now, it won’t take place before the Gators’ annual rivalry game against Florida State, so the Gators are looking for a new team to play that week.
The Gators now have two nonconference games on the schedule for that year — Charlotte and Florida State.
