It appears a decision has been for the Florida-Tennessee game as Knoxville radio host Jimmy Hyams is reporting the game will be played as scheduled.

The game’s status was in limbo over the weekend with so many schools canceling or postponing games following Hurricane Irma hitting the Carribean southern United States the last few days. Florida State and Miami were both scheduled to play this coming weekend but pushed back their game. The Gators also canceled their game against Northern Colorado last weekend due to the storm.

Hyams first reported the news Tuesday morning that the game will go on as scheduled in Gainesville:

According to this photo, the goal posts have already been reinstalled in the Swamp in anticipation for the game:

Tennessee beat Florida 38-28 last season, snapping an 11-game losing streak in the series. The Vols have not won in Gainesville since 2003. The game is scheduled to be the SEC on CBS game of the week, airing at 3:30 pm ET Saturday from Gainesville.
