Former Florida DE Jaye Howard will be looking for a new NFL home this summer.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the ex-Gator has been released by the Kansas City Chiefs, the team with which he’s spent the past four seasons:

Howard was a fourth-round draft pick of the Seattle Seahawks back in 2012, but didn’t play a single snap for them during his rookie season and was released prior to the 2013 campaign.

He then signed with the Chiefs, where his best year came in 2015, when he played in all 16 games and had 57 tackles, 5.5 sacks, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble.

Howard was a member of the 20009 Florida team that won a BCS National Championship, playing in 12 games that season.
