Former Florida star pass-rusher Dante Fowler has spent the past couple of seasons with the Los Angeles Rams, making an appearance in the Super Bowl with the Rams following the 2018 season.
Now, he’s reportedly on the move once again, as he is moving back to the southeast for the 2020 season and beyond.
Per NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Fowler is expected to join the Atlanta Falcons this fall:
#Rams free agent pass-rusher Dante Fowler is expected to sign with the #Falcons, sources tell me and @TomPelissero. A high-end pass-rusher lands in Atlanta. Coach Dan Quinn actually coached Fowler while at Florida.

As Rapoport mentions, Atlanta head coach Dan Quinn was Florida’s defensive coordinator while Fowler was in college, overlapping for a year in 2012, so he’ll work with one of his former coaches again.
Fowler has played 4 seasons in the NFL with the Jaguars and Rams, recording 141 tackles, 27.5 sacks and 6 forced fumbles.
