Former Florida cornerback Vernon Hargreaves has had no trouble adjusting to the NFL, going from the 11th overall draft pick in 2016 to an immediate starter for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

But some NFL executives think the Gators have an even better cornerback about to enter the professional ranks.

Albert Breer reported that nugget in a Monday Morning Quarterback notebook Thursday, listing Tabor as one of his two college players to watch Saturday.

“He’s a better athlete than Hargreaves,” an AFC personnel executive told Breer. “More competitive too.”

Tabor has a team-leading four interceptions this season, giving him nine is his three-season career with the Gators. Hargreaves finished his college career with 10 interceptions and 27 passes defensed.
