Ricky Pearsall, who transferred to Florida from Arizona State this offseason, reportedly suffered a foot injury during a practice this week.

But, it does appear that the injury is minor and that Pearsall won’t miss much time.

Per Gators Online, Pearsall’s injury is still unknown, but it has been reported that his X-rays were negative and he was feeling better on Wednesday:

While the extent and specifics of Pearsall’s injury are unknown at this time, sources told Gators Online it is not a major injury that will derail his 2022 season. GO confirmed his X-rays came back negative, and one source said he was “doing better” on Wednesday.

Pearsall had 48 catches for 580 yards and 4 touchdowns last season for the Sun Devils, all of which were team highs. He’ll be expected to be a big part of the Florida offense this fall.
