As a senior, Riley Cooper had the third-most receiving yards in the SEC. Now, the former Gator is just trying to find a new NFL team.

Cooper spent six seasons as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles and caught 169 passes for 2,418 yards and 18 touchdowns as a member of the organization. An off-field problem involving a racial slur created negative publicity for Cooper, and he was released by the franchise in 2016, shortly after Chip Kelly was removed as head coach.

Despite not playing last season, Cooper received a call from Tampa Bay for a tryout during the team’s rookie minicamp. After three days, it appears the Buccaneers will not be signing the former Florida receiver.

Cooper, 29, was a member of two national championship teams under coach Urban Meyer at Florida.
