When Tua Tagovailoa committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide, his family moved to Tuscaloosa from Hawaii to be closer to their son.

Now, it appears they’ll be able to stay in the southeast when Tua’s younger brother, Taulia, goes off to college as part of the 2019 recruiting class.

On Tuesday, the younger Tagovailoa tweeted that he had received an offer from the Florida Gators, marking the third SEC school to offer him a scholarship:

Tagovailoa also has offers from Alabama and Ole Miss among other non-SEC schools. Depending on how Tua’s Alabama career goes, Taulia may follow his brother and become a member of the Crimson Tide.

However, he has plenty of options now and he could certainly do a lot worse than playing for coach Dan Mullen, who has a knack for developing elite quarterbacks.

According to the 247Sports composite, Tagovailoa is the No. 9 dual-threat quarterback in the class of 2019 and the No. 11 overall recruit from the state of Alabama.
