Teez Tabor receives news on roster spot with Colts
Teez Tabor heard from the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday about whether or not he would be making the final roster. The Colts confirmed the news on their official website.
Tabor was one of two players released by the Colts on Sunday, along with former Alabama RB Kenyan Drake.
Indianapolis also waived WR Tyler Adams, WR Kody Case, G Emil Ekiyor, TE Nick Eubanks, K Lucas Havrisik, TE Michael Jacobsen, and T Matthew Vanderslice.
Tabor went to Florida from 2014-2016. He was selected by the Detroit Lions in the 2017 NFL Draft. After two seasons with the Lions, Tabor signed with the San Francisco 49ers’ practice squad.
Tabor has also played for the Chicago Bears (2020-2021), Atlanta Falcons (2022), and Seattle Seahawks (2022). Tabor signed with the Colts on Aug. 14.
He made 9 total tackles during his time with the Seahawks last season. He appeared in 10 games and started in one for Seattle in 2022.
The deadline for 53-man rosters is Tuesday for all NFL teams.
