There must be something about players who played at Florida who like to throw shoes on the field.

Carlos Dunlap joined Marco Wilson as former or current Florida players who have now thrown a shoe on the field during a game. Wilson, of course, did it last season against LSU in one of the bigger stories of the season in a development that turned the game in the Tigers’ favor.

This time, Dunlap, the Seattle Seahawks’ pass rusher, picked up a shoe and flung it down the field in a game against the Green Bay Packers. He was flagged for unsportsmanlike conduct after the play.

The Packers led 10-0 early in the fourth quarter in a game where the Seahawks’ offense struggled to find a rhythm in Russell Wilson’s return from a finger injury.
