Travis Etienne was a star running back for the Clemson Tigers during the Trevor Lawrence era under Dabo Swinney.

Now, both Etienne and Lawrence are first-round picks playing for the Jacksonville Jaguars, and Travis will be close to his brother, Trevor.

Trevor Etienne recently announced his commitment to Florida, meaning the Etienne brothers will be playing football a short drive away from one another. Travis discusses his excitement recently:

“It means a lot,” Travis said. “Growing up in the same household, just being there for each other, and to have my little brother there so close that I can just be able to reach out to him, be able to touch him, just do all those things you want to do as a brother. I know, at Clemson, I was 12 hours away from home. It was kind of hard to just be there and just be there physically. Now with him being just 71 miles away, it’s definitely going to change the dynamics of the family. Hopefully all the family gets down here. I’m just really excited to see what the year has in store for us as a family.”

Now, we’ll see how Trevor fares as a freshman at Florida. He recently committed to the Gators during the Army All-American Bowl.
