Tre’Vez Johnson has found a new home, and the former Florida defensive back is staying in the SEC East.
Johnson committed to Missouri on Sunday night, he announced on social media. Missouri coach Eli Drinkwitz wrote on Twitter on Sunday evening, “the TIGERS are gonna hit the daily double.”
The Jacksonville native appeared in 34 games over the last 3 seasons at Florida and made 16 starts. During the 2022 season, Johnson appeared in 12 games and made 9 starts. He finished with 26 tackles, 2 tackles for loss, 2 pass breakups and 1 interception.
One of his best games at Florida came in the win over South Florida this past season when he had 3 tackles and a key interception in the fourth quarter to set up the game-winning touchdown.
