Twitter reacts to the postponement of the LSU-Florida game
The SEC postponed the LSU-Florida game originally scheduled for Week 6 Thursday due to the threat of Hurricane Matthew in the state of Florida. There is no makeup scheduled at this time.
The game was originally scheduled to be played Saturday at Noon local time. Originally, LSU’s twitter page tweeted that the game was canceled, which many fans still believed even after its corrected tweet was sent out minutes later.
CORRECTION: #LSU game at Florida scheduled for Oct. 8 in Gainesville, Fla., officially "postponed."

I feel that the Gators knew Oct 3rd they wasn't going to move the game. We put a ton of pressure on them to respond today!

Easiest solution for LSU & Florida..bring both to teams Knoxville, Thompson-Boling Arena, and replay the UT vs Florida game on the jumbotron

@DanWolken sorry but Florida wasn't going to agree with 3 straight lsu home games during series

@finebaum Don't blame UF for not wanting to play at LSU two straight years.

LSU better have all night SEC home games for the next decade if the league office is gonna take the fall for this,

If this is how the SEC East is decided, it'll be so hilariously stupid https://t.co/DNi82PinJC

Per a source: #LSU offered its stadium, plane and buses to try to make a game happen this weekend

For Halloween someone should dress up as Death Valley and go to the UF athletic department. They'll have nightmares for months.
