When Urban Meyer left FOX Sports to become the new head coach of the Jacksonville Jaguars, the network had a big hole to fill when it comes to its college football coverage.

After losing one national championship coach this offseason, FOX Sports turned around and reportedly landed another one.

According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, Bob Stoops will replace Meyer as a member of FOX Sports’ pregame college football show Big Noon Kickoff. According to Marchand, FOX Sports has yet to confirm his report.

If you haven’t watched the show, Big Noon Kickoff is FOX’s competitor to ESPN’s College GameDay.

A former defensive coordinator for Steve Spurrier at Florida, Stoops coached Oklahoma from 1999-2016. He led the Sooners to the national title in just his second season, back in 2000, and coached last with the Dallas Renegades of the XFL.

During his time at Oklahoma, he led the Sooners to 10 Big 12 titles. His brother Mark is the head coach of Kentucky.
