If there were any doubts of Jarrad Davis’ athleticism entering the pre-draft process, those can now be put to rest. The former Gator linebacker put on quite the show Tuesday during Florida’s Pro Day event, which had to help his stock moving forward as the draft inches closer and closer.
Perhaps the most impressive feat of the day for Davis was his incredible 38.5-inch vertical. To put that into perspective, only four defensive backs were able to top that number at the latest NFL combine. Considering Davis is able to jump that high despite his 238-pound frame is remarkable.

After racking up 154 tackles, 17 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks over the last two seasons alone – despite missing some action last season, Davis has not only the desired measurables but the production to back up his draft status. Don’t be surprised to see Davis come off the board as one of the first linebackers taken in the upcoming draft thanks to his impressive showing in Gainesville this week.
