SEC East foes are very familiar with Tennessee’s unofficial fight song, “Rocky Top,” as it is a common tune for the Vols to play.

On Saturday night, the Florida Gators will head into Neyland Stadium to take on the Vols, and coach Dan Mullen is doing everything he can to prepare his team for the noise. He also joked about getting the song stuck in his head.

Starting at about the 10-minute mark in the video below, shared by the Florida Gators on YouTube, Mullen calls the Vols’ fight song a “catchy tune,” which likely won’t go over well in Gainesville:

“We’ll mix ‘Rocky Top’ into our crowd noise. We usually have music playing at practice a lot for our guys,” he said. “I’ll be whistling ‘Rocky Top’ by the end of the week. You just hear it over and over. Like every third song, it’ll roll through. You get used to it — it’s a catchy tune.”

Obviously, Mullen won’t be as thrilled to be hearing “Rocky Top” on Saturday, but for now, he’s preparing his players for the environment they’ll face in Neyland Stadium.
