Dan Mullen is showing quite the feel for when to call a trick play.

After last week’s successful double-pass using WR Kadarius Toney’s skills as a high school QB to score the only touchdown of the Mississippi State, Mullen called for another funky pass play in the fourth quarter.

This time, Mullen had TE Lucas Krull take the ball behind the line and throw back to QB Feleipe Franks. After the catch, Franks showed some athleticism to pick up more yards and get closer to the goal line. The reception set up a key touchdown run by Florida RB Lamical Perine to put UF up 20-19 in the fourth quarter, which remains the score with 6:36 left.
