The Florida Gators are hosting their annual spring game on Saturday afternoon, and new coach Dan Mullen is doing his part to spread the excitement.

Mullen has been visiting with students and fans all week to try to get a large turnout for his first spring game in charge of the program, and it seems to be working.

Below, in a video shared on Twitter by the Gators, Mullen gives an inspiring speech to fans assembled at a pep rally at The Swamp:

“What it means to be a Gator is to be the absolute best,” he said. “I’m honored to be your coach and to help this team live up to that Gator standard that has been here for so many years.”

He also joked that, no matter what happens on Saturday, the Gators will win. Indeed, that prediction will be proven true starting at 3 p.m. Eastern time on the SEC Network.
