It’s been a long 10 months since Dan Mullen was named head coach at Florida in November 2017 and Saturday night provided the Gator faithful with a sight they longed to see.

Mullen had entered Ben Hill Griffin Stadium before as a coach for Florida, but never at the head of the line. That changed Saturday when he led the team before its game against Charleston Southern.

Mullen enjoyed the chance to high five fans as they stuck their hands out and cheered for the man they hope can lead the Gators back to the national title game.

He also made sure to raise his hands and pump up the crowd which lined the walkway three or four deep just for a chance to catch a glimpse of Mullen and the team.
