Florida QB Feleipe Franks wasn’t spectacular on Saturday, but he did enough to secure a big upset victory over LSU.

Franks threw for 161 yards, a touchdown and an interception in Week 6, and also rushed for 42 yards. He kept the offense moving throughout the game against a tough LSU defense, and was able to distribute the ball to his playmakers who would then create in open space. That’s actually Franks’ favorite part about Florida’s offense, as he explained during media availability on Monday:

“Coach Mullen gives those guys opportunities to win one-on-one matchups and last week was a big one-on-one matchup kind of day,” said Franks. “I try to spread the ball, I try to spread the love. Whoever I’m reading at that time, whoever’s in, I try to get them the ball it doesn’t matter, our guys get open.”

“I think that’s one of the best things about our offense, you’re not too focused on one receiver, our whole receiving team is super good at what they do. If you want to go double somebody and leave someone else one-on-one, that’s fine I’ll throw it to him. It’s easy for me because those guys can win one-on-one matchups.”
