Even before all the player safety rules were put in place in football, you couldn’t just go out there and pile drive opponents.
However, that’s exactly what Florida LB Vosean Joseph did on Saturday at Vanderbilt, gifting the Commodores a first down.
As you can see in the GIFs below, Joseph picks up the Vandy ballcarrier and slams him to the ground head first:

Joseph drew an immediate flag on the play, and he’ll likely be called out in film review this coming week.
