Jarrad Davis likely didn’t expect to get posterized this week during training camp but that’s exactly what happened when he recently went up against Raiders rookie running back Chris Warren.
In what appears to be a routine play, Warren goes off tackle and meets Davis with a nice shoulder move that sends the former Gator standout flying. Pretty remarkable when you consider Davis is a legit NFL player as he racked up 96 tackles during his rookie season with the Lions in 2017. This will probably one of the few times Davis is met with this type of authority and isn’t prepared to handle it.
That’s the benefit of training camp, knocking off all the rust before the season begins.
