WATCH: Max Scherzer makes quick work of Tim Tebow for second year in a row

Plenty of Major League hitters look foolish hitting against reigning Cy Young Award winner Max Scherzer of the Washington Nationals.
However, on Friday, Scherzer made especially quick work of New York Mets OF Tim Tebow, striking him out in only three pitches.
As you can see in the video below, shared on Twitter by @MattEhalt, the at-bat only lasts 49 seconds before Tebow heads back to the dugout:

If that looks familiar, it’s because Scherzer only needed three pitches to strike out Tebow last year during spring training, too (video shared by @JayWhiteSports):

Tebow bounced back from the above strikeout, recording a hit in his next at-bat. By all accounts, he’s looking better at the plate, which is a good sign for his future.
He’ll just need to avoid Max Scherzer in the future.
