What Dan Mullen said after No. 3 Florida's 38-24 win over South Carolina
Dan Mullen’s No. 3 Florida Gators moved to 2-0 on the season with a 38-24 win over South Carolina, UF’s 31st-straight home-opening victory.
Florida’s offense provided plenty of fireworks, despite being on the field for only 53 plays. Part of the reason Mullen’s offense did not score more was his defense’s inability to get off the field. The South Carolina ran 83 plays, still coming up with fewer total yards than Florida (348-329).
Mullen discussed the difference in the number of plays, individual performances and more in his postgame his press conference.
