Georgia recruits at an elite level under Kirby Smart, bringing in the nation’s No. 3 recruiting class in the 2022 cycle.

Now, the Dawgs are off to a hot start with their 2023 recruiting class. But, on Tuesday, that class suffered a big loss.

As you can see below, 4-star 2023 CB Kayin Lee, a native of Ellenwood, Georgia, took to Twitter to reveal he was decommitting from the Georgia program:

Lee notes that he’s still evaluating Georgia, so there’s still a chance he ends up in Athens in 2023 and beyond.

Per the 247Sports composite rankings, Lee is the No. 17 cornerback in the 2023 class and the No. 15 overall recruit from the state of Georgia.

The Bulldogs are now down to 8 players in their 2023 recruiting class, which currently ranks No. 2 nationally and No. 1 in the SEC, per 247Sports.
