After committing to Georgia back on April 19, Elijah Jeudy has decided to reopen his recruitment.

The 4-star defensive end from Philadelphia shared the news Tuesday.

“I know that there’s been a lot of rumors saying that I will be decommitting from Georgia. I’ve been fighting and debating it for a couple of months now and I’ve came to the conclusion that I have to do what is best for me. So with that being said I will be decommitting from UGA,” Jeudy wrote on Twitter.

On the 247Sports Composite, Jeudy is listed at 6-3, 246 pounds and rated the No. 7 recruit in Pennsylvania, No. 10 weak-side defensive end and No. 171 prospect overall nationally in the class of 2021.

Texas A&M appears to be the frontrunner to land Jeudy. Ahead of his decommitment, eight 247Sports experts logged Crystal Ball predictions that Jeudy will ultimately sign with the Aggies.

Jeudy has 27 total scholarship offers, including Alabama, Florida, LSU, Ole Miss, South Carolina and Tennessee.
