4-star Georgia OT shuts down recruitment
When Rome, Georgia OT Tate Ratledge originally committed to Georgia, he made it known that Sam Pittman was a big reason why he pledged to the Bulldogs. Fans and rival fans wondered what might happen with UGA’s offensive lineman commits since Pittman took the Arkansas head coaching job.
Ratledge, a top-40 recruit, let everyone know on Saturday that he has shut his recruitment down. He used a pic of Georgia legend Herschel Walker in his tweet sharing the news.

The 4-star Darlington School product is rated the No. 3 offensive tackle, No. 5 recruit in Georgia and No. 36 prospect overall nationally for the 2020 class on the 247Sports Composite. Ratledge famously grew up in a Tennessee Volunteer household. UT commit Harrison Bailey immediately reached out to Ratledge upon the Pittman news.

It looks like the Power T will not be going back up on Ratledge father’s truck any time soon.
